Mr. Marinos Maratheftis, Marketing Manager of American College, participated in an Erasmus+ Staff Mobility activity through an official visit to the Hellenic Army Academy, as part of the Erasmus+ programme.
During the visit, a meeting was held with Major General Anastasios Polychronos, focusing on the exchange of knowledge, good practices, and professional experiences related to institutional cooperation and the internationalisation of higher education.
The visit provided an opportunity to discuss the role of communication, strategic promotion, and institutional networking in strengthening the presence of educational organisations within the European academic environment. Particular emphasis was placed on how educational institutions can develop meaningful partnerships, exchange expertise, and create opportunities for future collaboration.
As part of the mobility activity, possible areas of cooperation were explored, especially in relation to communication strategies, visibility actions, international engagement, and the connection between educational institutions at a European level. The discussion also highlighted the importance of continuous professional development for administrative staff, as well as the value of exchanging good practices with other institutions.
This Erasmus+ Staff Mobility experience contributed to the professional development of Mr. Maratheftis and offered valuable insight into the structure, operation, and institutional approach of the Hellenic Army Academy. It also strengthened the wider effort of American College to maintain active contact with European educational organisations and participate in initiatives that promote cooperation, knowledge exchange, and institutional growth.
The visit reflects the commitment of American College to internationalisation, staff development, and active participation in European educational initiatives. Through Erasmus+ opportunities, members of staff can broaden their professional perspective, strengthen their skills, and bring back valuable knowledge that supports the development of the institution.
This participation forms part of American College’s broader strategy to enhance its international presence, support the professional growth of its staff, and remain connected with the evolving European higher education landscape. Through such actions, the College continues to invest in international collaboration, institutional networking, and the continuous improvement of its academic and administrative practices.
