Erasmus+ Staff Mobility at Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín offered a valuable opportunity for professional development, knowledge exchange, and international cooperation between higher education institutions.
Ms. Andrea Leventi, Admissions Officer at American College, participated in the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility visit to Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín / Trenčianska univerzita Alexandra Dubčeka v Trenčíne in Slovakia, from June 16 to 19, 2026.
During the visit, Ms. Leventi met with Petra Nekorancová and Marcel Kordoš, with the aim of exchanging experiences, administrative practices, and best practices related to admissions procedures, Erasmus+ mobility administration, and international student recruitment.
The mobility activity focused on several important areas, including the host institution’s admissions practices, student information systems, digital tools used in admissions, administrative workflows, quality assurance procedures, and student support services. Discussions also explored how both institutions can improve administrative efficiency and strengthen cooperation through knowledge exchange.
The visit provided a useful opportunity to compare procedures, identify common challenges, and discuss practical ways to support students throughout the admissions and mobility journey. Particular attention was given to international partnerships, recruitment strategies, internal communication, and the role of effective administration in supporting prospective and current students.
This Erasmus+ Staff Mobility experience also helped strengthen the relationship between American College and Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín, creating possibilities for future collaboration, further institutional networking, and continued exchange of good practices.
