Some years do not end with numbers, but with meaningful actions.
Shortly before saying goodbye to the year, the American College community chose to share a message of kindness, support, and humanity through an initiative in support of the Cyprus Red Cross.
Students, faculty, and administrative staff joined forces to collect food, children’s items, and essential goods for families and individuals in need. Through this collective effort, the college community demonstrated that support does not always require grand gestures. Sometimes, it begins with a simple contribution, a thoughtful action, and the willingness to stand next to those who need it most.
The initiative reflected the values that American College continues to promote beyond the classroom: social responsibility, solidarity, empathy, and active participation in the community. Education is not only about academic progress and professional development. It is also about cultivating awareness, compassion, and a sense of responsibility toward society.
By supporting the Cyprus Red Cross, the American College community contributed to an important humanitarian mission.
