Students enrolled in this two-year program earn a Diploma in Accounting Officer. The program is designed to prepare students for entry-level Accounting positions in private and public organizations and for higher studies in accounting and business.

Career Prospects and Access to Further Studies

All organizations, from the smallest to the largest, have computerized accounting office or purchase computerized accounting services from accounting service providers. Therefore, there is a very high demand for accounting officers. The course syllabuses of the program are designed to prepare the students of the Accounting Officer Diploma to take external examinations and obtain, in parallel with their studies, the following professional certifications:

• Pearson LCCI Level 1 Bookkeeping,
• Pearson LCCI Level 2 Bookkeeping and Accounting,
• Pearson LCCI Level 3 Accounting and
• European Computer Driving License (ECDL).

Upon successful completion of this program, graduates will be able to:

1. Acquire a comprehensive view of Accounting principles, rules and theories;
2. Execute the procedures of modern accounting that is applied by accounting officers in organizations;

4. Open accounts in a computerized accounting software, record accounting entries and print accounting reports; and
5. Complete forms related to Social Insurance, Value Added Tax, other Taxes and others.
