On 29 March 2023 American College hosted a bakery seminar-demonstration by Αrtisan Βaker Chef Christos Papatheofilou! American College Culinary Arts students participated in the demonstration and made doughnuts, French baguettes, garlic naan bread and New York style bagels! Mr Papatheofilou spoke to the students about kneading procedure, types of flour, waiting times, yeast and sourdough and how we can have delicious and fragrant results with little effort! Mr Papatheofilou works professionally in the area of Culinary Arts and specifically in the area of bakery. He is the owner of a workshop making bread and various pastries. He also makes cooking demonstration on various Cypriot television cooking shows.
