Make-up Examination
Students can request a re-examination:
Eligibility: Students who have failed an examination/a course, have the opportunity for re-taking the examination, during the resit period, which occurs one-week prior to the beginning of the new semester (two resit periods during an academic year).
Frequency: Students have the possibility for taking 1 re-examination per course. If they do not succeed in receiving a passing grade, then they must retake the Course.
Process: To apply for a make-up examination, students need to visit their academic advisor, and complete a Make-up Examination Request form and submit it for approval to the Office of Student Affairs. They will be notified shortly on the resit days, times, and other details.
Eligibility: Students who have missed an examination due to medical reason or other emergency, have also the opportunity for re-taking the examination, during the resit period, which occurs one-week prior to the beginning of the new semester (two resit periods during an academic year).
Frequency: To apply for a make-up examination, students need to visit their academic advisor, and complete a Make-up Examination Request form and submit it for approval to the Office of Student Affairs. They will be notified shortly on the resit days, times, and other details.
Process: The office of Student Affairs may grant make-up examinations to those students who miss an examination as a result of a medical problem or a personal emergency. In this case, re-taking examinations does not remove the rights of students for taking 1 re-examination per course, in the case of failure, as per point 1 above. |
