Diploma in Human Resource Management

Students enrolled in this program earn a Diploma in Human Resource Management. The program is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in private and public organizations and for higher studies in business.

 

Aims and Objectives

 

The aims and objectives of the program are:

 

  • To enhance the students’ critical thinking and develop their basic analytical and decision-making skills.
  • To provide students with a broad understanding of the fundamental principles and theories of the basic areas of Human Resource Management.
  • To equip graduates with a solid academic, technical and intellectual background that will enable them to pursue higher studies in undergraduate and professional schools.

 

Learning Outcomes

 

Upon successful completion of this program of study, its graduates will:

 

  1. Demonstrate basic understanding of the functioning of business and the role and contribution of individuals within organizations, in order to develop appropriate human resource strategies, policies and systems for an organization to meet its business needs.
  2. Demonstrate competency in the strategic role of human resource management and its contributions to business success, to manage human resource function within an organization.
  3. Analyze human resource management solutions to resolve performance, employee relationship issues and concerns.
  4. Examine the practices and trends in human resource management to facilitate and manage change within an organization.
  5. Communicate effectively related issues to human resources in business organizations, by designing and implementing best practices in human resource management.
