Diploma in Travel and Tourism Management



Students enrolled in this program earn a Diploma in Travel and Tourism Management. The program seeks to prepare students for leadership roles in the Travel and Tourism industry.






The aims and objectives of the program are:


  • To provide students with the supervisory skills and competencies necessary to meet the needs of the ever demanding Travel and Tourism industry.
  • To develop students’ critical thinking and to refine their analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills.
  • To provide students with the skills needed to use a computerized reservation system.
  • To provide a broad understanding of the basic principles of management related to the Travel and Tourism Industry.




Upon successful completion of this program of study, its graduates will:



  1. Apply critical thinking and develop basic analytical, problem-solving and decision-   making skills.
  2. Gain supervisory skills and competencies necessary to meet the needs of the ever demanding Travel and Tourism Industry.
  3. Deliver quality service in a workplace environment.
  4. Operate a computerized reservation system.
  5. Choose a career path from a range of alternative options within the tourism enterprises and/or progress to higher level programs.
